Vendor Code of Conduct
If you are operating as a vendor on Harrington, you agree to:
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- Provide truthful and current product or service information;
- Fulfill all orders accurately and provide timely delivery and customer support;
- Respect the intellectual property rights of others;
- Manage your inventory, pricing, and listings responsibly;
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and disputes.
Restricted Activities
You are strictly prohibited from:
- Using the platform for unlawful, unethical, or harmful purposes;
- Submitting fake reviews or misleading content;
- Interfering with the platform’s operations or affecting other users/vendors.
Use of the Platform
The Platform serves as an informational and transactional portal. The accuracy of listings, pricing, stock availability, and product details is the sole responsibility of the individual vendors. We are not liable for the completeness or correctness of any content, including vendor representations.
Users may not:
- Reuse, copy, or exploit any portion of the Platform or its content for commercial use;
- Extract data or utilize tools like crawlers or scrapers without permission;
- Frame or mirror any elements of the site, such as trademarks, layouts, or images, without express written approval.
We reserve the right to suspend your account if you engage in any prohibited activity or violate these Terms.
Platform Misuse
You agree not to use the Platform in a way that may disrupt or degrade its performance or accessibility.
Any form of hacking, uploading malicious software, transmitting offensive or unlawful content, or misrepresenting yourself will result in immediate action, including legal recourse or account termination.
Content Submission

By submitting content, you grant Harrington the right to display, modify, or remove it, and to use your name or alias associated with the submission. You may not use fake identities, impersonate others, or hide the origin of your content.
Objectionable Content Policy
Due to the nature of a multi-vendor marketplace, Harrington does not monitor all listings or user-generated content in real-time. If you identify offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content, report it to us immediately. Include all relevant details such as your full name, contact info, and a description of the issue. Reports lacking sufficient details may not be actionable.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property on the Platform—including logos, graphics, scripts, and layout—is the exclusive property of Harrington or its licensors. No element may be used in a manner that could cause confusion or harm our brand reputation. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Legal Disclaimer
You understand that any interaction with vendors or third-party service providers on the Platform is done at your own discretion and risk. Harrington is not responsible for any issues resulting from your interactions with sellers, including product quality, service delays, or vendor misconduct. We do not mediate disputes between buyers and vendors. The Platform, including all content, listings, and information, is offered on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.
Vendor-Specific Terms
Third-party vendors may promote or sell goods via the Platform. We are not party to your transactions with these sellers. You should carefully read and agree to their terms before proceeding with any purchase. Your data related to such transactions may be shared with relevant third parties to fulfill the service.
Communications
By interacting with us, you consent to receive emails, texts, phone calls, or any other form of communication for order updates, service notifications, and promotional purposes.
Platform Changes
We may revise these Terms, policies, or services at any time. The version in effect at the time of your interaction or purchase shall govern your transaction, unless otherwise required by law. If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
Force Majeure

Non-Waiver

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. By using this Platform, you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for any legal disputes.
Software Usage
Our proprietary software is provided solely for accessing the Platform. You may not reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or integrate it with other applications. Any such misuse will result in termination of access.
Purchasing Terms
Order Agreement
By placing an order, you are submitting a formal offer to purchase a product or service. Order confirmation is valid only upon dispatch. You may receive multiple dispatch confirmations if your order ships in parts.
Availability and Pricing
Prices are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable VAT. Product prices and availability may change at any time. Harrington reserves the right to cancel or modify orders due to pricing errors or stock unavailability.
Order Verification
We may request additional information, such as phone number or address, to verify your order.
Failure to respond may result in automatic cancellation.
Reselling Prohibition
Resale of Harrington products for commercial purposes without authorization is not allowed. Violators may face legal action.
Tax Responsibility
You agree to bear all applicable fees and taxes for any purchases you make on the Platform.
No Guarantees or Representations
- We do not provide warranties for products listed by vendors.
- We are not responsible for issues arising from seller performance or product quality.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order due to technical or typographical errors.
Other Terms
- Stock is subject to availability;
- Delivery may be delayed due to force majeure;
- Harrington reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion;
- You may cancel your order at no cost before dispatch;
- Orders exceeding normal household consumption may be rejected.
